Step 2: Submit required materials to the ASA Regional Chapters Committee

- Letter of Petition
- Charter
- Bylaws
- List of Executive Board Members (Officers) (*include faculty advisor if student chapter) indicating which board members are members of the National ASA (including member numbers if available). For Regional Chapters, at least half of the officers of the Chapter and the Chapter Representative to the national meeting must be members of the National ASA. For Student Chapters, the Faculty Advisor must be a member of the National ASA. Please note: the Executive Board member list must include the faculty advisor if a student chapter and the Chapter Representative to the National Meeting for both Regional and Student Chapters.

List of initial chapter members, indicating which members are members of the National ASA (including member numbers if available). For Regional Chapters, at least 10 of the active members must be members of the National ASA. For Student Chapters, at least 5 of the active members must be members of the National ASA. You may also include lists of attendees to initial events and organizing meetings.
