Regional and Student chapters allow you to become involved in the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) on a local level. National meetings of the ASA are held twice a year in the Spring and Fall. Regional and Student chapters, on the other hand, typically meet multiple times throughout the year. Membership in a Regional or Student chapter does not require membership in the ASA.
